Why choose a natural down comforter?
A true symbol of traditional comfort, theduck down comforter returns to our rooms to bring warmth, softness and elegance. With its generous filling and its characteristic loft, it transforms your bed into a real cocoon of softness.
Unlike a classic duvet which covers the entire bed and falls on the sides, the duvet is placed on top of the bed, generally over a duvet or a Blanket. It thus provides additional warmth during cold nights, while creating a particularly warm decorative effect.
Duck down has excellent insulating qualities thanks to its natural ability to trap air. Combined with an organic cotton casing , it offers cozy and breathable comfort, particularly appreciated by people who are cold.
What size duvet should you choose for your bed?
To choose the right dimensions, you must take into account the width of your bed. Unlike a traditional duvet, a traditional duvet is designed to stay on the top of the mattress, without falling on the sides.
At Label Naturel, our duvets are available in several sizes to suit all beds:
- 90 × 150 cm : for a single bed of 90 cm wide.
- 140 × 160 cm : for a standard double bed of 140 cm.
- 160 × 170 cm : for a Queen Size bed of 160 cm.
- 180 × 170 cm : for a King Size bed of 180 cm.
- 200 × 170 cm : for a large bed 200 cm wide.

How to maintain a natural down comforter?
To preserve the loft and quality of your comforter, we recommend that you air it regularly and shake it gently in order to redistribute its filling.
The instructions for care instructions vary depending on the models. The Islande duvet is machine washable at 40°C maximum, without tumble drying. On the other hand, French duck down comforter requires dry cleaning only.
Using a suitable comforter cover also helps protect the fabric and limits the frequency of cleaning. With careful care and compliance with the instructions on the label, your quilt will maintain its comfort and beautiful fluffiness for a long time.
