“

duvet very comfortable, warm for winter in a city apartment (if necessary you can clip in another one). It makes a little noise but I have another duvet down from another good brand which also makes noise. It's not annoying. The delivery went well.

Good quality. Incomparable comfort of down compared to my duvets synthetics. I had to air out my duvet several times because the cotton envelope smelled strongly at the start of the purchase. The version I have was not in organic cotton so I imagine this problem has been resolved on the new ones. summer solved on the news duvets.

Which duvet down to choose depending on the temperature of the room?

For a room heated to more than 20°C, choose a light duvet down, adapted to thesummer. Between 17 and 20°C, a duvet Mid season offers thermal comfort balanced. For cooler rooms, below 17°C, opt for a winter duvet or a modular duvet 4 seasons , depending on your sensitivity to cold.

What is the difference between down and feathers in a duvet ?

Down is made up of small, very light and fluffy flakes, capable of trapping air to ensure excellent thermal insulation. The feathers provide more hold and weight to the filling. Our duvets Islande and Finlande contain 90% down and 10% feathers, while our French duck down range combines 30% down and 70% feathers.

What does the fill power of duvet down (CUIN) mean?

The fill power, expressed in CUIN, measures the capacity of the down to trap air. The higher it is, the more the down can offer good thermal insulation with a light filling . At Label Naturel, our duvets have a fill power of 500 CUIN for French down, 650 CUIN for the Islande range and 700 CUIN for the Finland range. The heat also depends on the fabric weight chosen.

Does duvet down make you sweat during the night?

Natural down offers good thermal insulation while maintaining a pleasant lightness. However, duvet too hot compared to the room temperature can encourage night sweating. To enjoy the comfort of down without excess heat, we advise you to choose a summer, Mid season or winter model adapted to your needs.

What do the RDS and OEKO-TEX certifications of duvets in down guarantee?

The RDS (Responsible Down Standard) label, present on our Islande and Finland ranges, regulates animal welfare and the traceability of down, in particular by prohibiting live plucking and force-feeding. The OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, certification present on our three ranges, certifies that the certified textiles have summer controlled according to criteria relating to harmful substances. These two certifications meet different requirements.

Can we machine wash a duvet down in the machine?

Thecare depends on the range chosen. Our duvets Islande in duck down and Finland in goose down are machine washable at 40°C maximum, with a suitable program. In contrast, our French duck down duvets requires dry cleaning only. In all cases, follow the instructions on the product label.

What size duvet duvet should you choose for a 140 or 160 cm bed?

For a 140 cm wide bed, choose a duvet of 240×220 cm for a generous drop, or 200×200 cm for a more fitted look. For a 160 cm bed, a duvet of 260×240 cm offers enveloping comfort, while a dimension of 240×220 cm is suitable for a more discreet drop.
